The Foundation Society, through its website: www.foundationsociety.com, is the original centre for the dissemination of knowledge on private foundations and their place as legitimate asset holding vehicles. This website, which is freely available to individuals and organisations by simple registration, is being redesigned to enhance its usefulness to accompany the publication of Private Foundations: Law & Practice.

The website will incorporate updates of information on private foundations which developed after the publication date of the book and which will be incorporated in future editions.

The full text of new foundation legislation will be added to that which already appears.

As private foundations become more widely known, there is the opportunity to present news and other events on a variety of topics in a way which is relevant to the use and practice of private foundations.

The website is a valuable and useful opportunity to exchange ideas and comments and which is, in the absence of judicial decisions relating to foundations, a useful means of bringing to the surface interesting and difficult points affecting the application of private foundations.
